The Budpods are botanical people which each comprise the flowers, seed pods and buds of various plants.

They guide us to treasure and protect all livings things so that we can live in harmony with the natural world.

Based on original watercolours, The Budpods were inspired by the faceless figurines created by the German Bauhaus designer and choreographer, Oskar Schlemmer, for his most famous ballet production, The Triadische Ballet.

ABOUT

These unique and distinctive figures have been created by Natasha Newbury who is a qualified Landscape Architect and fine artist.  Natasha has a passion for the environment, especially plants and so has combined her skills to produce botanical people which each comprise seed pods and buds of various plants as well as the flowers.  They are called the Budpods and are produced from her original watercolours.

The Budpod family are caretakers of the earth and like any family have their own characters! They guide us to treasure and protect all livings things so that we can live in harmony with the natural world.

Natasha's unique design of the Budpods was inspired by the faceless figurines created by the German Bauhaus designer and choreographer, Oskar Schlemmer, for his most famous ballet production, The Triadische Ballet.   See the photograph below.

The family are constantly growing so expect to see more playful characters.  New products will be added so you can find out more about their individual characters.
